McCalls 6696 Shirt Dress
I was thinking of sewing a gingham dress for quite a long time but, surprisingly, I couldn't find an appropriate 100% cotton fabric. But as soon as I found one I picked it for my next project for Minerva Craft Blogger Network. Paired with McCalls 6696 pattern it was turned into a vintage style shirt dress.
As you can tell, I hacked this pattern by adding a full circle skirt and a side zipper. I prefer it this way but I'm sure I'm going to use this pattern in its original design too.
This pattern appears to be a bit loose in the waist and too tight in shoulders and underarm area. But those were the only adjustments I had to do.
